South Africa Mission Trip 2026
This October, I have the opportunity to participate in a humanitarian mission trip to Cape Town, South Africa. As a licensed mental health counselor and trauma-informed clinician, I will join a team partnering with local nonprofit organizations that are working on the front lines of community healing.
Our team will provide trauma-informed resources, education, and support designed to help organizations address the effects of generational trauma and build resilience within the communities they serve. We will also focus on encouraging nonprofit staff and volunteers who often carry the emotional weight of supporting others while having limited access to resources for their own well-being.
The past few years have been a season of significant growth, healing, and transformation in my own life. Through challenges and unexpected circumstances, I have gained an even deeper appreciation for the power of hope, resilience, faith, and compassionate support. As I have moved through my own journey, I have felt increasingly called to give back and serve others in meaningful ways. This mission trip represents an opportunity to step outside my comfort zone, use the skills and experiences God has entrusted to me, and support those who are making a difference in their communities every day.
Through sharing the love of Jesus, education on vicarious trauma, burnout prevention, and sustainable self-care practices, our goal is to strengthen the people who strengthen their communities.
Support This Mission
This trip is coordinated through Managed Missions. Financial contributions are processed directly through the mission organization and support approved trip expenses, including travel, lodging, transportation, and ministry resources. Contributions may be tax-deductible according to the organization’s guidelines.
If you would like to partner with me through prayer or financial support, I would be deeply grateful.
