Natalie Decker M.S., LMHC
I use an integrated approach to help people with complex emotional and trauma-related issues. Think of it as a mind-body approach.
Utilizing CBT helps my clients understand their thoughts and beliefs, while utilizing DBT gives my clients practical skills for regulating intense emotions, and finally, utilizing somatic therapy to address how my clients' emotions are held in the body.
Together, these tools build a well-rounded toolkit for healing.
In addition to my clinical practice, I am a Qualified Supervisor for the State of Florida. I am passionate about supporting the next generation of clinicians and am currently accepting new supervisees, If you are an intern seeking guidance from an experienced LMHC in Florida, I would be happy to discuss your professional growth and help you navigate the licensure process.
How can my therapeutic approach help?
By offering professional therapy services for individuals, including children, adolescents, and adults. Utilizing play therapy for younger clients, and also providing individual counseling and support to parents facing parenting challenges and seeking to improve the parent-child relationship. This practice is committed to fostering emotional well-being and strengthening family bonds through evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
I am a neurodivergent affirmed and trauma-informed therapist. Most of my clients are neurodivergent in one way or another.
