DBT Skills Groups

At Rise Up Mental Health & Wellness Services, LLC, our DBT skills groups provide a supportive and structured environment for learning practical tools to better understand emotions, improve relationships, manage stress, and build a life aligned with your values.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is an evidence-based approach that teaches skills for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.

Our groups combine education, discussion, skill-building, and real-life application to help participants practice tools they can carry into everyday life.

Parent–Teen DBT Skills Group

A skills-based group designed to support teens and their caregivers in building stronger communication, emotional awareness, and coping strategies together.

This group helps families learn DBT skills while creating opportunities to:

  • Improve communication and connection
  • Better understand emotions and reactions
  • Strengthen coping skills
  • Navigate conflict more effectively
  • Support each other through challenges
